This project increases the understanding of the potential impacts and adaptation options of climate change on energy supply, agriculture, and on the natural capital of the North.

Building Resilience to Climate Change in Human Settlements

This project works with the Canadian Institute of Planners and other national, provincial, territorial, and community stakeholders to integrate geoscience and geomatics information into decision-making processes that build climate change planning capacity across the country.

This project generates national scale datasets and knowledge regarding climate variability, ecosystem response, and climate change impacts on Canada's landmass and natural resources.

Paleoenvironmental Perspectives on Climate Change

This project increases the understanding of past climate variability in order to place modern climate change detection and adaptation strategies in a long-term context.
