Canada hosts a wide variety of ecosystems, which are driven by climate variables. As ecosystems respond to changes in climate, the habitat and resources that ecosystems provide are affected. Natural Resources Canada's expertise in Earth observation and geomatics can be used to help partners in other governmental departments and provinces to evaluate the response of Canada's ecosystems to climate variability.
